FAQs
Where are you located?
We are located at 9726 Gayton Rd, Henrico, VA 23238 just off of Gaskins Road. There is free and ample parking to the left and right as you enter the shopping center and we are under the brick archways.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yep! Check out this page or stop by in person.
What should I expect when I arrive?
The studio is open 20 minutes before class to give you plenty of time to get into the space and get settled. When you arrive, you will be checked in at the front desk. There are cubbies to store all of your things. Any props you would need (besides a yoga mat) are provided and will be specified by your instructor. If you forget your yoga mat, no worries! We have a few available to rent in studio. Amenities include two bathrooms with changing tables and extra nursing/baby/personal care supplies plus a water fill station. We encourage you to hang out and get to know your community before and after classes in the common area.
What if I’ve never done yoga before?
That’s okay! All of our classes are taught to all levels of experience and fitness. You should feel accepted and welcome in ANY class that you want to attend. We’d love to have you join us!
What should I expect in class?
All classes will start with sharing — it’s never mandatory but is a great opportunity to share about your experience and get to know the community. You’ll be asked to share your name, your baby’s name(s) (if applicable), how many weeks pregnant you are (if applicable), and how you’re feeling today. Sometimes a teacher may ask another question, such as sharing what you’re grateful for, if it aligns with the theme of the class. The rest of the class will focus on a combination of physical movement, yoga flow, breathwork and/or meditation, and rest. Teachers will always offer options and adaptions based on any injury, discomfort, or pre-existing condition.
Nervous about what to expect? We got you ⤵️
What if I’m running late?
It happens! We just ask that you give the teacher a heads up by calling us at 804-418-3946. If you are going to be more than 15 minutes late or can no longer make it to class, email or call us and we are happy to cancel you free of charge.
Should I wear a mask?
Masks are not required but if you would feel more comfortable wearing a mask you most certainly can, and are welcome to do so. Masks are also available for free at the studio.
Is my child able to join me for class?
You are welcome to bring your pre-crawling baby with you to ANY class.
When am I able to practice again after having a baby?
We ask that you are cleared by a medical professional before returning to class. This is usually 6 weeks for a vaginal delivery and 8 weeks for an abdominal birth (cesarean). That being said, you are welcome to return when YOU feel its right - which may be a bit earlier OR later.
Is there a fee for cancelling or missing class?
In Person Classes: There is no fee to cancel your class up until 30 minutes before the class start time. If you do not show up for class or early cancel, All Access Members will be charged a $5 late fee. Class Pack Holders and Premium & Basic Members will lose the class credit.

How do I cancel a class I can no longer attend?
On a desktop: Under Upcoming Classes, you’ll click the 3 vertical dots to the right of the class and select ‘Cancel Yourself'.
On the app: Under Upcoming For You, click the purple box with the class you need to cancel and select ‘Cancel this booking’ right below the location.
What if a class I signed up is cancelled?
Though we try to avoid this, due to the nature of birthwork and families, things happen last minute! If a class needs to cancelled, you will be notified within a reasonable amount of time via email. We will also try post any cancellations or closures on our instagram stories. Classes may also be cancelled within the hour of the start if no one is signed up for class, so please be sure to register & cancel early if you cannot make it.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes! There is a 10% discount off any membership or package for healthcare workers, teachers, military, solo parents/caregivers, stay at home parents/caregivers, and birth workers. Email us for the promo code to use online.
